For this card, I used a selection of beautiful, coordinating papers from the A Regency Romance Collection, arranging torn strips so each pattern could have its moment.

I kept the design quite simple, finishing it with kraft card, natural twine and the perfect little sentiment – Have a Beautiful Day.

The beautiful Jane Austen – A Regency Romance collection.

Hello everyone.

I am sharing the latest card I created for Relatively Thoughtful.

A delicate and romantic card created with the beautiful Jane Austen – A Regency Romance collection.

I layered the patterned papers to create depth and added a generous arrangement of soft peach and pink flowers, greenery, pearl details and fibres. 

The vintage frame in the background gives the whole design a lovely Regency feel, while the “Have a Beautiful Day” sentiment makes it perfect for many occasions.

I really love the combination of soft florals with the rich blue patterns – elegant, feminine and wonderfully romantic.'

Overthinking in Colour – Art Journal Page

Hello.

There is something very special about creating with your own collection.

Overthinking in Colour was born from all those loud thoughts, messy emotions, music, colour, chaos and creativity that somehow live together in my head — so using it in my own art journal feels a little bit like putting pieces of myself back onto paper.

For this page I wanted to keep things quite simple and let the main image do most of the talking. I created the background using a stencil with those gorgeous messy circles, added just a little pink splatter, and then built the focal point using elements from the collection.

Of course, music had to be part of it.

The girl with her headphones, the cassette player, the little star, the concert ticket and the words “the music understands me more” all felt perfect together. I love how the black, pink and yellow work against the white background — still grungy and bold, but with enough empty space to let everything breathe.

I also added a loose hand-drawn border around the page because I never want my journal pages to feel too perfect. A little wonky, a little messy, a little unfinished — that is much more me.

This is exactly what I wanted Overthinking in Colour to be about: creating without overthinking every single detail, playing with colour, layers and images, and simply enjoying the process.

And yes… sometimes the music really does understand us more.

“Overthinking in Colour” - Projects By Karolina Pytlarz

Hi there.

Karolina created this beautiful journal page and two PCJs using my “Overthinking in Colour” collection. 

I really love how each project has its own mood and personality, while still keeping that bold, expressive and slightly chaotic feel of the collection. The colours, characters and little phrases work together beautifully and make every piece feel unique.

A lovely set of projects full of creativity and character.

The phrases “too much mind, too little silence,” “born to feel too much”, and “chaos is part of me” fit Karolina’s journal style perfectly and bring so much emotion to the pages.
