“Overthinking in Colour” - Projects By Dagmara Gorczyńska

Hello.

Dagmara loves creating PCJs – Postal Journal Cards, so I was really looking forward to seeing how she would use my “Overthinking in Colour” collection.

And once again, she created such a wonderful variety of pieces. I love the mix of bold characters, layered backgrounds, splashes of colour and little phrases that give each card its own story.

From “born to feel too much” and “chaos in colour” to the beautiful Polish phrase “W sercu każdej kobiety drzemie królowa”“There is a queen in every woman’s heart” – each PCJ feels personal, expressive and full of character.

Dagmara also created a beautiful journal page using my “Overthinking in Colour” collection. I love how she carried the same expressive, layered style into a larger format, giving herself even more space to play with colour, texture and all those little details that make her work so recognisable.

I really love how Dagmara turned the collection into these little pieces of art.

If you’d like to create with “Overthinking in Colour” too, the collection is available in my Etsy shop.

Hugs,

“Overthinking in Colour” - Projects By Ellen Jarvis

Hello.

Ellen created several fantastic projects using my “Overthinking in Colour” collection, and I love how differently she approached each one.

The first is a pop-up/interactive card full of little messages, bold black-and-white backgrounds and pops of pink, blue and yellow. I especially love how the inside opens up to reveal even more details and phrases from the collection.

She also created this amazing step-style card, using the “Overthinking in Colour” title as a strong focal point. The layered panels, camera, character and little phrases give it so much dimension and personality.

And finally, another grungy card with torn-looking elements, splashes and the phrases “Born to be real not perfect” and “don’t overthink it.” It has such a raw, creative feel and fits the collection perfectly.

I really love how Ellen used the same collection to create three completely different looks.

If you’d like to create with “Overthinking in Colour” too, the collection is available in my Etsy shop.

Hugs,

Karolina

Hello.

Emilia created this fantastic set of ATCs using my “Overthinking in Colour” collection.

I love how each card has its own personality, while the whole set still feels beautifully connected. The bold characters, layered backgrounds and colourful musical details work so well together.

“Overthinking in Colour” - Projects By Agnieszka Gaj

 Hello.

Agnieszka created these fantastic ATCs using my “Overthinking in Colour” collection.

Aga absolutely loves making ATCs, so I knew she would have fun with this collection — and I also knew I’d have plenty to admire.

I really like how she combined the bold characters, colourful backgrounds and strong little phrases such as “create. destroy. rebuild.” and “normal people scare me.”

Here is a lovely set of ATCs.

I love how the bold characters, colourful backgrounds and little phrases work together — “misfit hearts club,” “music saves us,” “chaos in colour” and “safely losing my mind” fit the collection perfectly.

Each ATC feels different, but together they capture the rebellious, colourful spirit of the collection perfectly.

If you’d like to create with “Overthinking in Colour” too, the collection is available in my Etsy shop.

A little trip down the rabbit hole…

 Hello.

I created these ATCs using the “The Christmas Tea Party” collection, featuring two of my favourite Wonderland characters — The White Rabbit and The Queen of Hearts.

I wanted to keep them quite simple and vintage, with torn paper, playing card motifs and layered elements to give each little card its own character. I really love how they turned out together as a pair.

The collection is available here

Hugs,

Karolina

My Little Overthinking in Colour Bookmarks Dolls

Hello.

Today I’d love to share something a little more personal — a few of my own projects created with “Overthinking in Colour.”

I’m starting with these doll bookmarks. I had so much fun making them and giving each one her own little personality. I love projects like this because they let me play with colours, patterns and tiny details without overthinking everything.

They’re a little quirky, a little imperfect, and very much my kind of thing. I hope they make you smile as much as they made me smile while I was creating them.

If you’d like to create with “Overthinking in Colour” too, the collection is available in my Etsy shop.

Hugs,

Karolina
