A Little Home for My ATCs - Overthinking in Colour

Hello.

What do you do when you make lots of ATCs? You make them their own little folder, of course! 

I created this ATC folder and the cards inside it using my Overthinking in Colour collection. I wanted the whole project to feel messy, bold and a little rebellious — lots of layers, splashes, patterns, pockets and words that say exactly what they want to say.

The little folder has pockets to hold the ATCs, so it becomes a project in itself, not just a place to store them. And this is exactly why I love working with this collection: the papers can become ATCs, folders, tags, journal pages, cards, pockets, bookmarks, and so much more.

You don't need a complicated plan. Print the papers, cut them up, mix the patterns, add some paint or stamping and just play.

Everything Is Possible | Overthinking in Colour

 Good morning.

I love when one little project can have more than one purpose! 

I created this piece using my Overthinking in Colour collection. It can be used as a bookmark, but it also works perfectly as a tag for a journal, scrapbook, gift or mixed-media project. I layered different patterns from the collection, added the leafy element and finished it with the words:

“Everything is possible, even the impossible.”

This is exactly what I wanted Overthinking in Colour to be about — bold colours, messy layers, positive words and the freedom to cut everything up and make it completely your own.

Hello.

Sometimes all I need is a blank page, a pile of paper and permission to create without overthinking it. 

I created this art journal page using my Overthinking in Colour collection. I love how the bold black-and-white patterns work with the splashes of blue, mustard, and pink, while the hand-drawn flowers soften all that beautiful chaos.

A little Regency elegance with a simple, rustic touch.

Hello.

For this card, I used a selection of beautiful, coordinating papers from the A Regency Romance Collection, arranging torn strips so each pattern could have its moment.

I kept the design quite simple, finishing it with kraft card, natural twine and the perfect little sentiment – Have a Beautiful Day.

The beautiful Jane Austen – A Regency Romance collection.

Hello everyone.

I am sharing the latest card I created for Relatively Thoughtful.

A delicate and romantic card created with the beautiful Jane Austen – A Regency Romance collection.

I layered the patterned papers to create depth and added a generous arrangement of soft peach and pink flowers, greenery, pearl details and fibres. 

The vintage frame in the background gives the whole design a lovely Regency feel, while the “Have a Beautiful Day” sentiment makes it perfect for many occasions.

I really love the combination of soft florals with the rich blue patterns – elegant, feminine and wonderfully romantic.'
