I created this bookmark using the Independent Women "Authors" Kit, 

and I couldn’t be more in love with the vintage charm it brings!

The floral background adds a delicate, feminine touch, 

while the layered butterfly and crinkle ribbon bring texture and dimension.

A perfect keepsake for any book lover who admires the brilliance of Christie’s mysteries!

Christmas Bookmarks

 

Hello everyone.

I was asked to make some bookmarks instead of Christmas cards, which is a great idea. 

I found some stamps from magazines in my stash, and I thought they would be excellent for my projects. 

Also, I decided to use the Pretty Magical Christmas stamps set from Pretty Gets Gritty. 

To make backgrounds, I used Distressed Oxide Inks.

Hi.

I received a happy mail a few days ago. Inside the happy mail was a goodie bag full of paper scraps.

I use them to make a background.

I have used 1/3 of the goodie bag.

To create this background, I used many products from Pretty Gets Gritty.

I hope you like them.

I am sharing another bookmark. I love to create them. This one is co cute :)

Hello.

I love to make bookmarks. They can be a perfect gift for someone who loves reading.

 To crerate this bookmark I used a tag from set of Chipboard Decorative Tags X Large. 

  

To cover this tag, I used my handmade background.

I've copied the tag's shape twice to cover the back of the tag; then, I cut them. 

I stuck everything together using glue; then, I've applied some golden paste and used a black crayon to contour the edge of this tag.

 

I've decided to add some texture to the tag by using clear gesso and stencil.

When I dried the tag, I've added some glimmer mist sprays and gold paste.

Then I started to add some paper embellishments and phrases I've written and printed from my computer.

 

  

I stuck everything by using glue; then, I've used a black crayon to contour the elements.

I've attached a ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed my project and have been inspired to make one for yourself.

clear gesso, handmade background, glimmer mist sprays, glue, words, paper embellishments, gold paste and ribbon
